Enjoy floating during the race
Inspired by car races and the aviation history, Icare is a sports vehicle focusing on a new practice: the tri-dimensional rally. Based on flotation and the sensations it provides, the pilot and the co-pilot use it in two different positions generated by their behaviour towards flotation. The pilot is in a lying position face down on the floor, he is therefore under the flotation plane, which puts him in the action. The co-pilot is in a lying position with his back above the flotation plane. This way, he can give directions to the pilot in the urban jungle to aim for the fastest time. Icare’s typology allows to reinvent the rally races by using third dimension and the verticality of the city.
